A 3-Layer Safety System
ImagineBuddies uses three layers of protection to keep every conversation safe for young children.
Things Characters Will Never Do
No matter what a child says, the characters will never:
- Ask for personal information like names, addresses, schools, or phone numbers
- Request photos or videos
- Suggest meeting in person or sharing a location
- Keep secrets from parents
- Discuss romantic, physical, or inappropriate topics
- Use scary, violent, or disturbing content
- Create emotional dependency with phrases like "I miss you" or "call me back"
Redirecting Important Topics to Parents
If a child mentions something concerning — like feeling unsafe, physical pain, a scary stranger, or a secret — the character does not investigate or ask follow-up questions. Instead, it gently encourages the child to talk to their parent, teacher, or another trusted adult, and moves the conversation on.
The goal is always to bring the child closer to their family, not to replace parental involvement.
Parents Stay in Control
Parents can see call insights in the dashboard — including call time, duration, and which character was used — so they always have visibility into how their child is using ImagineBuddies. Parents can also suggest specific topics when scheduling calls, allowing them to guide the experience toward things that are meaningful for their family.
Designed for Ages 3–8
Every aspect of the character conversations — language, tone, topics, and responses — is tailored to young children. Characters focus on positive, imagination-friendly subjects like animals, games, stories, colors, numbers, and creativity. Responses are kept short and simple so even the youngest kids can follow along.
